About me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have experience working primarily with adolescents, young adults, and adults. I have worked with clients with a wide range of clinical concerns, such as depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, and trauma. I currently practice as a school counselor for middle to high school aged students. I am well-versed with what teens face on a daily basis.

My style of counseling is creating a warm, therapeutic relationship first and foremost. I believe change cannot be possible unless there is safety and trust between therapist and client. I am encouraging, warm, and will meet you where you are at. I want to be a gentle guide in helping you achieve your goals. I want you to know you are not a burden, and I am honored for the chance to work together. Teens especially usually do not feel heard or valued, but I want to be here to honor and validate your experiences.

My counseling style combines aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and strength-based approach. I also have a holistic view of people and consider many aspects of life, such as family, relationships, and school.

Ultimately, as a therapist, I want clients to know how much worth and value they already possess inside of them. I want to help my clients discover and develop the coping skills, strengths, and qualities they already have to obtain their goals.

You are taking the first step to change and a healthier self, and I would be honored to be on this journey with you!
