About Me

Life is hard and full of challenges both expected and unexpected. Those challenges can seem overwhelming when faced alone. I see therapy as a collaborative journey that I get the privilege to accompany my clients on. I attained my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Texas State University – San Marcos in 2005. I have 14 years-experience working through life’s challenges with clients. I am licensed in Texas as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor as well as in Kansas as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor. I have worked in a residential rehabilitation center for adolescents, a private practice as well as a chronic pain clinic. I have helped people navigate life’s changes and challenges including addiction, intimate partner and family violence, depression, anxiety and family/relationship issues.

My therapeutic approach is direct, solution focus, grounded in compassion and empathy. It is eclectic in nature heavily influenced by Adlerian Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and REBT.
Therapy is a journey we will embark on together. I believe strongly in a collaborative experience for self-exploration, discovery and personal growth. My approach is compassionately direct and client driven.

Together, we can define a path to create the you and the life that you want! I look forward to working with you!
