Emily Wilson, LCSW
About me
My therapeutic approach is empathetic and collaborative. I work on trying to make long lasting change by truly listening, working through challenges, and working together with my clients to find the right path for them. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I believe everyone can benefit from having an unbiased person listening to them and helping to work through the challenges of life. My role is to be that unbiased person who listens with an open mind and offer non judgmental guidance and support.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have experience working with people of all ages. I have expertise in working with clients with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma history, life changes, and stress. I also have helped clients with domestic and sexual violence, including physical, emotional, and psychological abuse.
It takes courage to take those first steps toward change to live a happier and more fulfilling life. I am here to help with that next step by providing support and empowering you to be the best you!
