Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Counseling Supervisor, I have been in the field since 2011. I am active in my community and spend time counseling, as well as providing professional support to other healthcare providers and counselors that are new to the field. I have worked in both community based mental health and private practice.
I work with a range of clients with concerns related to depression, anxiety, relationship issues and parenting problems. My area of focus is women's emotional health. I support many different women, working women who are looking for support in career challenges, women who need support balancing home and work life, women who are welcoming a new addition or any combination of challenges that women today may face. I specialize in prenatal and postpartum emotional health. I have also walked alongside many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I help people find hope in their current situation. I am kind and patient, but I will be honest if I see opportunities for growth. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I use evidence based practice not limited to cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal and narrative therapies. Our communication and your treatment plan are unique and based on your specific needs and circumstances.
