Hi there, I'm Eric Anderson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. My goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgemental environment to help get you through what it is that is bothering you so you can start feeling better and live your life.
I have experience working with a variety of issues but my primary areas of specialty are in treating additions and unwanted behaviors, managing conflict in relationships, and trauma and abuse. I am a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT) and have a great deal of experience helping those struggling with pornography and sexual addictions. In this work I provide a plan and direction to not only break the cycle of addictive behavior but to heal damage done in their relationships as well. I've been in practice in Southern California for over 5 years and have helped develop and start intensive programs for those struggling with these issues. I'm excited to provide services in an online format as it can be valuable resource in the recovery process.
Additionally, I am passionate in helping clients struggling with issues around depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. Typically when we are struggling in these ways, there is an unmet need, or unresolved issue and sometimes it is hard to know what that is. I work to help you identify and understand what areas may need be addressed to help you start and moving forward and feeling better.
I graduated with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2012, have completed a certification in treating sexual addiction (CSAT) and am trained as an EMDR therapist to address trauma and emotion regulation issues.
If there are any questions you have about this process or how I can help please don't hesitate to reach out. I hope to connect with you soon.

Great therapist. Very insightful. Good at reading people. Good at listening.
He is a good counselor. I was hesitant at first, and I was thinking I may not be super comfortable but it was no problem. I feel comfortable enough to share, and I appreciate his advice and trust his suggestions.
Eric is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and knows what to say to what it is I'm dealing with. He understands where I'm coming from, and I feel like he has been a great counselor match for me. He's great.
I'm really enjoying my sessions with Eric. He is timely with his responses and, along with affirmations of my progress, is always giving me something new to think about/work on. He has been a great help to me!
