I am a clinically licensed counselor with 5 years of experience working as a psychotherapist in Illinois. My counseling style is warm, empathic, and engaging. I sincerely believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My clinical approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I’ve had a great experience with Eric so far. I can’t wait to continue our session.
I'm pleasantly surprised of how much I do enjoy talking to a counselor and I know this is only true because of Eric Cline. Within the first session, he had me comfortable enough to share about myself and my concerns. Along with being a great listener, he's really good about letting me have my "moments" and to take a beat and acknowledge how I'm feeling or why something has made me emotional.
Being vulnerable isn't the easiest thing to do and I have quite a plate of armor protecting myself. Eric has been able to establish a non-judgement free zone and so I'm ok with telling him the good, the bad and ugly without having to worry about being shamed or feeling guilty.
I like to think I'm a good judge of character as I also analyze people in my industry and it helps to know that is Eric is a good person who truly loves his job. That in itself is inspiring for me when at times I can't stand my job or the direction my life is going.
Eric is helping me get there with baby steps and I appreciate him not trying to change me but help me understand my actions and who I truly am. I'm grateful for you Eric!
Eric has been great. This was my first experience with therapy and I'm enjoying it and look forward to my sessions.
