I am so proud of you for taking the first step into your healing journey. My name is Erica and I have been working with children, adolescents, young adults and adults for over 15 years. I have a strong knowledge base of resources in the Philadelphia metro area.
I recently had my second child and currently only have DAYTIME availability due to current clients having established evening sessions.
I became a mom during COVID, which was big transition for me and quite the journey. This means I am able to provide insight, compassion and knowledge to parenting issues, fertility struggles and pregnancy loss.
My experience includes case management and psychiatric acute care or what people call partial hospitalization; basically, I ensured that myself and my team helped clients stabilize during, or after a crisis.
My orientation for treatment is trauma based, focusing on rapport and safety, then gently exploring how our past experiences shape our reactions and relationships today. I then integrate more concrete methods to help change negative thought patterns, behaviors and communication, to help you in your healing journey.
I started my career in case management working with children and families, connecting them to community resources, and therapies, then I grew into acute care, running children and adolescent group therapy, family therapy and individual and crisis counseling. I have some experience in department of corrections, addictions and juvenile justice. I returned to acute care, this time working with adults and then finally into individual counseling. Since most of my history is in acute care, I have a passion in working in crisis and trauma, working with all demographics. My extensive background in crisis and trauma allows me the compassion and space for those needing a little extra support, to check my email and text those clients throughout the day.

Erica has been so helpful. She’s so responsive and I’ve used the messaging platform before for some more time sensitive concerns and she responded very quickly. She’s funny, kind, caring and I’m so grateful to have her helping me through some challenging times with managing my stress. I highly recommend therapy with Erica.

In the first meeting, Erica helped me make a major breakthrough, and throughout our relationship (which unfortunately was brief), she helped me learn a lot more about myself, and work on additional areas. Highly Recommend!
