I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of providing life guiding Christian principles, mental health, and substance abuse counseling and education. I have worked with individuals and families dealing with various problems to include depression, anxiety, self esteem, and addictions.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1999 and my Master's Degree in Social Work in 2005. I gained my experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings with clients diagnosed with severe mental disorders and substance use disorders. I am trained in evidence based Bible Based Therapy. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapy which which align with The Word of God. The 5 years I spent in the U.S. Army helped build my character and ability to interact with different cultures.
I believe in the power of God to change any situation. There are not many ways, there is only One Way, and That is Jesus Christ. I believe in meeting people where they are. I believe part of my role is to help clients see their own power and ability given by God to make the changes needed to improve their lives. My counseling style is compassionate and collaborative with a focus on helping clients to break down the mental and spiritual barriers preventing them from achieving their goals. I do not believe in labeling individuals.
I am committed to working collaboratively with individuals as we work together on developing a treatment and action plan that will lead to positive changes. I believe that good therapy should lead to change.
I understand that it is not easy to ask for help. My Christian background gives me the ability to help clients face challenges with confidence. I want to be of service to those in need, let me help you today.

I appreciate the compassion, depth of knowledge, honesty and humility that Erica Harris possesses as a counselor. What a gem!
Erica is a wonderful therapist! She is always able to provide me with encouraging words and support.
Erica turned what I thought was PTSD around. Her help has been amazing for me and my family. She respects my time, concerns, and me as a person.
Erica is wonderful! She provides insights from her own experiences and will guides me away from my issues!
I first began counseling with Erica when my spirit was broken, I felt all alone, and really felt as if I didn't want to live anymore. She offered a gleam of hope and light within a dark tunnel. Since my sessions she helped give me hope and direction. The things I had to discuss, I was too afraid to tell anyone, at first. Since my sessions with her I went from having no career, a dark sad life, to finding myself and obtaining a thriving career. Not only did she literally help save my life, she has taken the journey with me and she has helped me pick up the broken pieces of my life when what seemed like the whole world wanted me to fail. I've been with Erica now for almost a year. Erica isn't just a counselor, she's a good woman who keeps it real. She has heart and a beautiful soul you can count on.
Erica is a kind and lovely lady.
Erica Harris is professional and attentive. She made the sessions seem as though we were in the same room and clearly listened to what I was feeling. I highly recommend her work.
Erica has changed my life. I came into counseling emotionally defeated and rooted in my despair, and I had no idea how to combat it. I just wanted to not be miserable anymore. But Erica gave me far more than what I had asked for. She taught me life tools and strategies to challenge and change the way I think and live. Though she was extremely compassionate, she never let me believe that I was helpless. Through God's strength and grace, Erica's guidance and wisdom, and through the power of choice, I learned month after month how to combat my depression. By no means have I conquered it. But now I know it does not have to be my master. Erica is an exceptional counselor. She is pragmatic, kind, challenging, open minded, but also so committed to God's truth and speaking it into your life. The truth is not at all easy, but it will absolutely set you free. If you are wiling and open, then Erica's counsel could truly change your life, too.
Erica is awesome.
Her ability to key in on the issues at hand is extraordinary, her knowledge of Faith and God's help are great. She's given me a new prospective in which my introspective is enlightened.
It is still early in the CBT process for my anxiety, but I absolutely love Erica's direct yet compassionate approach to therapy. She is incredibly accommodating, and has a gift for finding Mercy in my own harsh judgments of myself. Do not hesitate to work with Erica on your issues!
Erica is very friendly and supportive!!! I have really enjoyed my sessions with her and she has really helped me through some tough situations.
Thank you, Erica.
Erica is very responsive and helpful. So far she has been very helpful to me in my relationship and with my depression.
Erica is warm, friendly, and truth-telling. I am so thankful for her active listening and encouragement. Highly recommended!
Erica is an amazing counselor and really takes the time to respond thoughtfully to your needs. I have appreciated her so much!
It feels good talking to someone about our problems. I was not thinking I had a drinking problem, but talking to Erica has helped me to understand that I am addicted to alcohol and I must do something about it..
Fantasticly empathic and easy to talk to!
Erica is a great guide on the road to better health. Working together, I learned to pay more attention to my beliefs and actions and to implement meaningful changes.
Erica Harris has been great. Her no-nonsense Christian approach was just what I needed.
Erica has been amazing. She was very responsive and always there to help. Very knowledgeable and I don't know what I would have done without her support & help.
