About Me

Hello, I'm so happy you're here. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) licensed in the state of IL and I have 8+ years of experience providing individual and group counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including stress, depression, anxiety, dating & relationship issues, anger management and building self esteem & confidence.

My counseling style is personable, compassionate and interactive. I strive to create a non-judgemental space for clients to open up and I believe in treating everyone with respect and sensitivity. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy. When something in our life is out of balance -- mentally, physically and/or emotionally -- therapy can help to center us. I view therapy as a partnership and I will shape our conversations and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific goals.

It takes strength to reach out for help, so I commend you. This is the first step in your personal development journey, which can lead to a more fulfilling life. If you are looking for someone to support and empower you along the way, I would be honored to help.

I look forward to working with you!

I was a agoraphobic, to the point that going to the mailbox was difficult, and I found social situations to be torture. So I went online looking into a support group or something so I wouldn't feel so alone and I would be able to talk to people who I can relate to, I was shocked to find a way to do therapy online, I had no idea this existed. From the start I was anxious to reach out fearing judgement and scrutiny from a perfect stranger, but I know I needed help. Then I got Erica as my counselor, she was amazing from the start, she didn't judge me even when my irrational phobias could have hindered the therapy process. Erica encouraged me, recommended reading materials and overall just made me feel like a normal person who is going through a rough time, not a damaged person who needs to be fixed. Now I have someone I can be completely honest with (which was difficult with face to face therapy), and I am showing vast improvement. I am going to the store, riding my bike around the block and communicating with estranged family members. I can't thank Erica enough, for giving me a new outlook on life!

Erica is great. I was able to really communicate my feelings with her. She was supportive and gave many recommendations for me to try out. I really was surprised how well the experience went, and how quickly I was able to start feeling better. I now have the tools I will need in the future to get through the rough patches that come my way. I will be returning and requesting Erica's help in the future.
