Erik Larson, LICSW
About me
I am a licensed therapist (LICSW) in the State of Washington with 7 years in private practice. I live in King County, Washington State. I am Nationally-Accredited (ACSW) and endorsed by the National Association of Social Workers in Washington DC. During the past 7 years, I have specialized in providing therapy to families and individuals impacted by the child welfare and foster care system. Before going into private practice in 2015, my experience spans 3 years of government agency work involving intensive case-management, crisis intervention, care assessment, client advocacy and investigations of harm or abuse to vulnerable adults. Prior to 2012, I worked as a social worker to support children in foster care and families affected by the child welfare system. In 2001-2006, I provided supervision, counseling and case management of adjudicated youth offenders, aged 12-16 years, in a residential mental health locked-down setting. I am also a licensed private investigator and specialize in locating difficult-to-find beneficiaries of estate planning cases. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
