I am a Clinical Social Worker and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Integrative Medicine. For several years I have been working with people from different backgrounds, ages, and cultures, including veterans and women victims of domestic violence and abuse. I have also coached and trained executives and supervisors in leadership and personal growth and provided coaching in their areas of need.
During my years of experience, I have supported and cooperated with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, life and career challenges, post traumatic stress disorder, lack of motivation and low self-esteem.
My personal approach is empathetic, very professional, and understanding. I always start from where the client is, and from there we develop a plan focused on the individual’s goals and needs. My counseling style combines cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused interventions, mindfulness, as well as a strength-based and empowerment approaches.
I believe in people and I believe in change. We all have issues at some point in our life and sometimes we need someone free of judgement to support and guide us throughout the process of overcoming those situations. Life gets better when we have someone to rely on.

In the midst of a complex and highly stressful and frightening time in my life, Erika helped me take a moment to breathe and give order to the chaos. She understood my concerns and knew how to help me prioritize each situation every step of the way. Easy to talk to, caring, and positive. The perfect match for me and my situation.
Erika is truly a fantastic counselor! She is so empathetic and understanding, and I truly feel safe in a conversation with her. Her wisdom and conversation are incredibly eye-opening and I always feel better than I started after a session with her. She goes above and beyond and is genuine in her care. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to have been paired up with her.
Erika is a Godsend. She had me look at my situation and grief in a healthier way. She is teaching me coping skills that I will be able to use the rest of my life. I like that I can text her whatever I am thinking and feeling that exact moment. She always responds quickly and is able to address the issues I texted. We also talked on the phone, which makes it all the more personal. I have gotten more out of my two weeks with Erika than I did with two years of conventional therapy with a psychiatrist and a counselor at the same time.
Erika has been an amazing person to be able to confide in. I'm very grateful that she ended up being my counselor. She is a really great listener and does so to truly understand where you're coming from. I have full faith in her and that she can help others too!
After two sessions I had with Erika I feel stronger & more confident resolving my issues have been struggling with using tools she provided me.
Erika always made me comfortable to talk with her without nothing to hide.
Erika is an incredible listener who will help you organize your thoughts and dive to the root of your problem. I think that for anyone feeling lost or confused, Erika is the absolute right person to talk to.
Erika is compassionate, competent and very culturally aware. She is an excellent therapist and she has helped me tremendously.
