Hi there. I am a LCSW from San Diego, a military spouse and Mother, and a first-generation college graduate. I knew from a fairly early age that helping others was the field for me and subsequently worked toward getting my Masters degree in Social Work from the University of New England. I have many years of clinical experience, in various settings. My current full-time work is as the Program Director for a children's crisis screening and assessment program, under the umbrella of a large non-profit agency in San Diego.
My work as a private practice therapist is primarily focused on a client-centered, interactive approach. My goal is to assist clients through difficult times in life, whether it is intimate relationships, work dynamics, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, trauma or any other emotional or mental health issues, by first and foremost empathically listening to your concerns . By using a humanistic, relational and solution-focused approach, we can work together to identify the root of where your concerns might originate and use that insight to move forward with solutions and ideas. Allowing yourself an opportunity to sort through complex emotions and situations can positively serve you to feel more productive, emotionally healthy and motivated about life.
