About me

I am a licensed Psychologist with a Health Service Provider (HSP) designation. As a provider, I feel it is necessary to recognize the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual components of one’s health. I value integration and advocate for bridging the perceived gap between the mind and body. Furthermore, I take an integrative approach to case conceptualization and intervention. I specialize in working with adults with chronic pain and managing the psychosocial impact that has on quality of life. However, I have 8 years of experience working with adults in various settings such as integrative health clinics, hospitals, residential substance abuse treatment facilities, and community counseling services.

I received a Ph.D. from Tennessee State University and am currently completing a 2 year Post-Doctoral Health Psychology Fellowship at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine with Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I also have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Washington University and two bachelors degrees in Psychology and Justice Studies from James Madison University.

I look forward to working with you!
