I have been a licensed professional counselor for 13 years. I managed and ran my own private practice for approximately 6 years. I've worked with clients varying in age, gender, and socioeconomic status. I worked as a Substance Abuse Supervisor in an inpatient facility and currently hold the position of Assistant Clinical Director at my place of full-time employment. I primarily utilize a cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based model for treating clients. I also use motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapies when relevant to the specific needs of the client.
My counseling style is warm, empathic, rewarding and directive. I believe in treating all people with respect and I do not support stigmatizing labels. I will individualize our discussions and work with you to create a treatment plan that meets the unique dynamics of our work together.
It takes courage to seek a better life and take those first steps towards change. If you are ready to make those changes, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Very personable and helped me through a tough time
Erin Gould is wonderful. She listens , is compassionate and is a wonderful communicator. I would highly recommend her.
Erin is awesome, listens to you, and also helps you put it in a different view, one you may not thought of. I feel I am healing with her help!
I think Erin is an amazing therapist, we for sure clicked which is very important. She listens to me and helps me break down my feelings and anxieties and gives me different calming exercises to try.
I would highly recommend her but would also say she may not even for everyone since it’s important for you to click with your therapist. But she is very knowledgeable in her field, friendly, nonjudgmental, quick to respond to messages, and checks up on me regularly which I really appreciate. My family and myself have a huge improvement in my attitude since I started my sessions with her.
She listens and tries to get to root of the problem instead of just offering a quick fix. She tries to repair the “foundation.” It’s great working with her.
Erin incredibly supportive, responsive and active in listening and offering sound advice. I tend to write and talk a lot, and she knows how to process it all, weed through the monotony, and key in on my tendencies and patterns, and help me analyze them from a third-person perspective. I couldn’t recommend her more.
Erin does a great job getting to know and understand patients concerns. She is so attentive that she picks up on things and makes you aware of tendencies that you can work on to improve your situation. I am very impressed with her compassion and knowledge. She would make an excellent teacher. She has helped me so much.
Erin is great and I look forward to the progress we can make in the future! She’s wonderful at listening to exactly what I want out of our sessions and she’s able to provide the support that I need seemingly effortlessly. She’s also extremely relatable and just pleasant to talk to, even with tough subjects I find us laughing through most of our sessions.
Erin is an amazing listener and always has something I can use to help my situation.
I think you are doing a great job handling my mood swings and answering my questions. Thank you so much.
Erin is very easy to talk to and always respectful, understanding and kind.
A great asset and a good listener.
She is understanding and even gives me home work to help me build myself and make myself a better me.
Erin was great - she immediately understood and empathized with what I was going through and offered tangible solutions and ideas for moving forward.
