About me

I have been a licensed professional counselor for 13 years. I managed and ran my own private practice for approximately 6 years. I've worked with clients varying in age, gender, and socioeconomic status. I worked as a Substance Abuse Supervisor in an inpatient facility and currently hold the position of Assistant Clinical Director at my place of full-time employment. I primarily utilize a cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based model for treating clients. I also use motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapies when relevant to the specific needs of the client.

My counseling style is warm, empathic, rewarding and directive. I believe in treating all people with respect and I do not support stigmatizing labels. I will individualize our discussions and work with you to create a treatment plan that meets the unique dynamics of our work together.

It takes courage to seek a better life and take those first steps towards change. If you are ready to make those changes, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Erin is awesome, listens to you, and also helps you put it in a different view, one you may not thought of. I feel I am healing with her help!

I think Erin is an amazing therapist, we for sure clicked which is very important. She listens to me and helps me break down my feelings and anxieties and gives me different calming exercises to try.
I would highly recommend her but would also say she may not even for everyone since it’s important for you to click with your therapist. But she is very knowledgeable in her field, friendly, nonjudgmental, quick to respond to messages, and checks up on me regularly which I really appreciate. My family and myself have a huge improvement in my attitude since I started my sessions with her.

She listens and tries to get to root of the problem instead of just offering a quick fix. She tries to repair the “foundation.” It’s great working with her.
