About Me

Hello! I'm so glad you're here. Whatever you are here for support around depression or anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, navigating transitions, ADHD, PTSD, healing from physical trauma or emotional abuse, or simply desire to understand yourself in a deeper way and commit to better self-care, I am here to listen and guide.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State with over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. My approach to counseling is open minded, affirming and nonjudgmental. Change is hard. We often have to break down our defenses to get to the big breakthroughs, and these transformations work best when we feel supported. I have extensive knowledge in the many factors that define who we are and how we relate to the world.. My approach combines client centered, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic and humanistic counseling. I am skilled in creating a safe space for us to explore your unique and specific needs together.

Erin has been very supportive and offers great insights and thought provoking perspectives when counseling. I don’t feel pressured at all to meet with her or talk. I just reply when I can and it’s great. She has made it a very open atmosphere and I love that she’s given me additional resources for me to review and contemplate, or complete. I worked with Erin for a couple of months while dealing with a stressful transition and major career deadline. I felt like I was in over my head, and I was anxious and exhausted. I thought that we established a good rapport right from the start, and Erin had helpful things to offer me from the first few moments that we worked together. Erin is warm and intuitive, and she brought a great sense of humor to our sessions. Erin provided an excellent combination of affirmation, doable "homework," and helping me understand myself and my reactions to my situation better. I recommend Erin incredibly highly!
