About Me

I am licensed in the state of Wisconsin as a Professional Counselor and in the state of Washington as a Mental Health Counselor. I am also a Registered Art Therapist through the American Art Therapy Association. I have experience with treating individuals, groups, and couples, and I work with people between the ages of 12-75. While I work with a wide range of issues, helping individuals who are in a transitional period of their life is one of my specialties; particularly with teens and young adults. I also have experience working with individuals who identify with the LGBT community. I believe that we are all on an ongoing journey to further understand ourselves and align with an identity; it's my role as a therapist to offer feedback and foster support while you navigate through your journey! I utilize a strength based, holistic approach to treatment, with special emphasis on cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused theoretical models. I have had experience providing psychotherapy within a wide variety of settings including outpatient and inpatient for mental health and substance abuse, within the foster care system, and within residential settings. Throughout my experiences, I have gained expertise in treating depression and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, addictions, personality disorders, trauma, identity issues, and anger management, among others.

Erin is very available. She has lots of suggestions and I was surprised by how much I’m enjoying her help with art therepy. I’m stuck right now and she is helping me to free myself. Plus the hours are great and I don’t have to pay for parking or sit in traffic.
