About me

Welcome!

I am a licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist in Ohio (IMFT) and I have been working in the counseling field since 2012. I have experience working in my local community, schools, outpatient settings, and private practice. I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients, from young children and their parents, to teens, young adults, individuals, and couples. I have worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, self-esteem, motivation, and a wide range of challenges including trauma as well as personal growth and adjustment issues.

My approach is a blend of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, holistic, and emotionally-focused theories to meet you where you are in your journey. I believe that we all have within us what we need to function well and live a joyful life, and sometimes we just need assurance and support to build that self awareness.

I am committed to working creatively with clients to find what works well for their family’s desired lifestyle. I believe that with my educational and professional experiences, as well as my motivation, enthusiasm, empathy and compassion for others, I could be a valuable member to your band of support.

I look forward to working with you!

Erin is a fantastic listener. She fully absorbs what I’m saying, and she provides thoughtful and honest feedback. It’s obvious that she is very skilled at guiding me to open my mind to new ideas and solutions for various scenarios. I am really enjoying having Erin as my counselor.

She's been an amazing soundboard and helping understand my goals has been very helpful to me.

Erin has been great! I had tried a couple counselors before getting matched with her and never found what I was looking for. Erin is responsive and encouraging. I appreciate that she validates some of my feelings while challenging others, rather than always telling me what I’m feeling or doing is wrong or could change. I’m thankful to be working with her!

Erin is communicative, kind and open minded. She puts my needs first and checks in on me between sessions. She’s provided me multiple ways to connect through the app and many resources, ideas and coping skills I hadn’t used before. I feel like I can talk openly with her and feel comfortable sharing.

Erin has been a godsend, helping me to work through a traumatic experience with my child and also to find ways to make my anxiety more manageable. She’s always been available to message with me or talk with me and often checks in to see how my situation is progressing. Erin follows through...she is always positive and supportive but helps me to think of situations in a different light and to find the best tools for me personally.
