About me

Collaboration and empowerment are the cornerstones of my practice. In the safe space of the therapeutic alliance, clients are invited to explore their genuine internal experience with the goal of discovering their own sense of wellness, and develop a plan to walk within. I received my Masters of Science in Education, specializing in clinical mental health counseling, from Old Dominion University. I have experience in a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care. I value building a genuine therapeutic relationship in which the client can feel safe to learn, and grow.
