Hello, you fantastic human, you! Are you seeking talk therapy with a side of creative expression such as music, poetry, art, and movement? Are you looking for a trustworthy guide to illuminate the path towards meaning and purpose? I work with clients whose challenges may relate to anxiety, depression, identity, spiritual wounding, sexual abuse and other traumas, and substance use. Are you curious about identifying where you've been and determining where you're heading in your story through the use of creative expression and imagination? In addition to my specialized trauma-informed training in mental health, including various evidence-based interventions, I am also a songwriter and poet and have a background in working with addictions and expressive therapy techniques including lyric and song writing, poetry, and movement.
Although we're the experts of our own lives, sometimes we need someone to hold a steady lantern for us as we navigate the often dark and rocky terrain of life--someone to help us gain perspective and vision.
