Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. In the days to come, you will be sharing a lot of your personal information with me, so I think it is important for you to know a little about me. I have been licensed to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina since June, 2011, but have worked in the mental health field since 2004. Along with my LCSW, I am a Registered Play Therapist, Certified Christian Counselor as well as certified Prepare and Enriched Marital Counselor. My areas of interests and specialties include treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, and Couples. I also have extensive history in working with children, teens, adolescents and the military related issues.
I am currently the owner of Without Limits Counseling Services, and provide supervision to Provisional Therapist in the field of mental health. I draw upon several theories to best fit the needs of each individual Client. I strive to maintain a person-centered approach, in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution focused treatment modalities. My main goal is to help you identify what you want to change and guide you through making those changes. During that process, my primary goal is to empower and prepare you to be able to handle future issues that may arise, without the assistance of a mental health professional and to restore feelings of balance and internal peace.
