Ethel is such an amazing therapist and human being in general. She helped me work through a low point in my life, gave me tools to cope and make it to the other side as a more assertive person (still learning, but getting better) in control of my own happiness. She actually listens and truly provided me the tools to help work towards becoming the best version of myself as possible.

Ever since our first meeting, Ethel has done an amazing job of not only validating my feelings but giving me feedback and opinions I had not yet seen before. She truly is such a compassionate and caring person. Anyone who is going trough anything in there life, I just know Ethel can help them through it. Her calm and sweet spirit allows her to mellow me out and talk about the problem at hand and not just my reaction to it.

I just started therapy with Ethel about a week ago and from the beginning I think we hit off well. She asked about my concerns and offered some suggestions to help get me on track with my goals. She's a good listener and she asks the right questions to get me to engage in therapy.

Ethel is a great person, and I like her but I'm looking for something a different in a therapist.

Written on Mar 26, 2022 after therapy with Ethel for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, self esteem, anger management, career difficulties, coping with life changes, and adhd

Ethel is particularly amazing as a therapist because of her wisdom. She openly, and honestly shares all of herself with you as a therapist and I feel, at least for me, that having this sort of transparency in communication makes it easier to open up about what I feel. She holds no judgements, and is very receptive to what you say. She will ask you questions, and tells you what you need to hear - not always necessarily what you want to.

I’m therapy averse, and Ethel has completely changed my outlook on therapy. A GEM.
