Over the course of this past year, where I truly did not know if I would make it to the end of my week. Ethel not only helped me get myself out of an incredibly awful time but managed to give me the tools I needed to get myself out. I have become a much stronger person while being more true to myself. I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for her. Whether it be her warm demeanor or inviting presence, it allowed me to open up - which is not something that is easy for me to do. She is an amazing person and we need more like her in this world.

Ethel is a great person, and I like her but I'm looking for something a different in a therapist.
Written on Mar 27, 2022 after therapy with Ethel for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma and abuse
Ethel is particularly amazing as a therapist because of her wisdom. She openly, and honestly shares all of herself with you as a therapist and I feel, at least for me, that having this sort of transparency in communication makes it easier to open up about what I feel. She holds no judgements, and is very receptive to what you say. She will ask you questions, and tells you what you need to hear - not always necessarily what you want to.
I’m therapy averse, and Ethel has completely changed my outlook on therapy. A GEM.
