My name is Eve Pearson-Marcus. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia since 2009 and have worked in a variety of clinical settings. I’ve worked in hospitals, primary care clinics, met with clients in their homes, worked for a non-profit agency and counseling center, worked with soldiers and veterans in military settings, and had a private practice. In addition to my LCSW, I also have a National Association of Social Work Advanced Credential in Case Management (C-ASWCM). That’s a fancy way of saying I’m good at connecting people with the resources they need!
I would describe my primary therapeutic style as Person-Centered, but also may use Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Solution-focused, Eclectic, & Feminist theories at times.
I have worked with a great variety of clients including individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, LGBT issues, drug and alcohol issues, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and attention deficit, and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorders. I have also worked with individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome, personality disorders, sexual disorders including paraphiliacs, and pedophilia.
I’ve worked with many women during my career as a therapist and have always found it especially fulfilling to work with young women. Perhaps it’s because I was once a young woman facing many challenges of my own, or that I have two daughters of my own.
I completely understand how overwhelming it can be to feel alone when you’re depressed, anxious, or in emotional pain of any kind. Whatever you are feeling, believe me, your issues are very real. I commend you for seeking help, because it’s not an easy thing to do. People of all ages are struggling with careers, job loss, and financial worries. Loneliness is epidemic and especially difficult during the current pandemic as people are separated from important family, personal, and work relationships.
I believe in helping my clients bring their strengths forward and into the light. While it can be difficult, if not impossible, to acknowledge your strengths when you’re depressed, I can assure you everyone has strengths. We all need extra support at some point in our lives and I feel counseling should be as natural as going to the doctor, or even taking a college course. We are meant to always be learning, evolving, and improving ourselves.
Lastly, I am confident in my ability to help my clients and have an excellent clinical toolbox to share. I commit to providing my clients with a strong system of support, and will always provide an accepting, non-judgmental, caring and safe environment.

Eve was very considerate and easy to work with. She showed true concern for my well being and reached out to check on me. She was always just a short message away if I needed her guidance.
Very knowledgeable and kind!
She’s very understanding and resourceful, I feel comfortable which is generally hard for me, she gives great advice and she’s very professional and kind.
I really love Eve. Although sometimes I think she may struggle with the technology side of things, she’s an extremely warm and compassionate person. She makes me feel accepted and safe and gives me worksheets to complete so that I can really improve my mental health and overall wellbeing. I also love that she gently points out patterns and helps me see things that I can’t see. I’m so grateful for her counsel and wouldn’t change a thing!
Very helpful! I look forward to our sessions very much. Eve gives me a lot of new tools and insights to grow.
Eve has been amazing. I felt comfortable from the first session! She has been very supportive and understands my concerns and issues I have been having and provides the appropriate feedback!! I love the worksheets that she sends me. It makes me think on a deeper level instead of just brushing things off like I do or over think things. She has helped me understand that life is a slow pace event and not a marathon. She has been amazing!!!
This was my first time having counselling of any sort so It was a bit daunting but Eve was easy to talk to and I was instantly relaxed and knew counselling was a good decesion. Every week me and Eve made progress and I felt like I was moving forward. Eve was great at really listening to how I felt and knowing when to enquire into certain subjects further. I went into the counselling feeling the lowest I’ve ever felt, but with Eve’s help I started to feel better and better each week. I would recommend Eve as a counseller to anyone as a result of my experience. I’ve found out a lot about myself and am looking forward to what the future brings. Thank you again for your effort and time Eve.
