Hello, I am so excited to work together to solve the puzzle of life with you! I enjoy helping others find sunshine in the midst of storms. Everyone needs a great therapist to talk through life's many challenges and support them through the journey. As a native Houstonian, I received a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Prairie View A & M University and a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston-Main Campus. I have almost 20 years of experience in counseling individuals from 4 to 100 years of age -yes, seniors are some of the funniest clients. I have worked in various social work settings such as the Texas Medical Center, school districts, non-profits and child welfare systems.
My counseling therapeutic interventions include cognitive behavior, psycho-education, skills building, conflict resolution, trauma, mindfulness, grief and solution-focused.
Last, I enjoy spending time with my golfing husband and inquisitive daughter. Traveling, shopping, reading, yoga and meditation are just a few things that I love to do.
