I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience helping individuals and families pursue their life and wellness goals. I began my career in the field of television news before deciding to follow my heart and pursue my passion of helping people face challenges in their everyday lives. I believe that no matter what curve balls life throws at you, with persistence, hope and the right support, you can overcome anything to achieve your dreams and live your best life. I would describe my counseling style as integrated and person centered. I love to think outside the box and incorporate a variety of traditional and experiential therapies in my work including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. Some of my specialties include self-esteem, women's issues, depression, anxiety and trauma.
