Frances Harper Mion, LCSW
About me
My name is Frances “Frannie” Harper, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) living in Colorado. I have 17 years of clinical experience, and I am a licensed Acudetox Specialist (ADS) and a certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher (RMT).
I have extensive training and certifications in Crisis Intervention, Brief Intervention Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Treatment, Behavioral Therapy, varied Substance Use Disorder Treatment modalities, and Enhanced Psychotherapy. I have experience providing therapy for Anxiety, Depression, Mood/Behavioral Disorders, Substance Use disorders, individuals living with HIV, LGBTQIA+, women in pregnancy or experiencing women’s health issues, and individuals receiving end of life care (hospice).
My unique and compassionate personality puts others at ease which allows us to build rapport quickly, the client to feel comfortable to be themselves, and for us to get to work! I use an intuitive and holistic approach to communication and psychotherapy, and I aspire to provide meaningful interventions that increase the client’s emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I believe the key component to creating success in therapy is building and maintaining an appropriate, safe, compassionate, and judgment-free relationship between client and therapist. My goal is to provide the type of care and services that I would like to receive if the roles were reversed.

Frances is probably one of the most intellectual, fun and respectful therapists I have ever came across. I really wasn’t expecting to look forward to therapy and she has made my experience so amazing thus far!

Frances has been wonderful so far! I’ve had many different therapists, and you can tell if the vibe is right from the first session; it certainly is here! I feel really validated and supported with her in a way I haven’t found with other therapists, especially about my queer identity and the work I’ve already done. Very grateful to have been placed in her care

Literal sweetheart.
Extremely well educated and interested in helping people in constructive ways without missing a beat on being supportive.
There is no judgment in the space of Miss Francis, only kindhearted and open minded discussions!

I have worked with Frannie for only about 2 weeks and she has helped me sort through my thoughts in such an understanding manner and I overall feel better and more productive in my hardships. She doesn't sugar coat a lot and calls me out when I need it which I like and fits my personality well. I have a long road ahead still but am excited to sort things out with her guidance in mental health
