My name is Gabriel Trujillo, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia.
In 2013 I graduated with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been doing counseling work for the past 10 years. I have worked in different settings providing mental health services including: university campuses, community clinics, and church offices.
"Mental Health is a commitment to reality at all costs..." -M Scott Peck.
I believe counseling is a powerful process that changes the clinician and the individual both. Counseling compels us to take a hard look at reality and face the truth however tough and take one step toward our "ideal self." I like to listen and empower individuals to live their best life. I am also not afraid to gently confront and hold you accountable to your goals. Counseling themes I've worked with frequently include: Marital counseling, sex addiction, depression, and anxiety.
I believe my clients would find me warm, passionate and non-judgemental. I am fiercely committed to serving the individual to the best of my ability. Things that are important to me are my family, my values, and authenticity. Here is some information regarding my personal life. I am a white Hispanic male born in Puerto Rico. I am happily married with two beautiful daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, board games (especially Settlers of Catan), sports and keeping a 93 gallon saltwater coral fish tank!

Gabriel has been such an amazing, supportive, and helpful counselor. I started seeing him at a very dark point in my life, and he's helped bring perspective and most importantly give me tools to manage stress and view situations in a new light. I've found a ton of value in the way he breaks down WHY we think and do things. I highly recommend Gabriel to anyone looking to make a positive change!
I didn’t know where or how to start counseling but I knew I somehow needed to do it. I’m grateful to have Gabe as a counselor, him and I have similar interests and it makes it easier for me to get along with him, which in turn helps be a bit more vulnerable and expressing my feelings and thoughts. Keep being you Gabe!
Gabriel was amazing right from the start. Very knowledgeable from my perspective. I’m 56 and know a skilled person when I see one. He is also very compassionate and caring, I will miss him.
My husband and I had weekly video marriage counseling sessions with Gabriel for just over a year. I can now say that he saved our marriage. Gabriel comes from the heart, from a place of genuine care and sincerity. He was very thorough and always had a carefully planned session for us. At times when I felt there was no hope for our marriage, he gave us hope, encouragement and support. He fundamentally taught us to be better communicators, which helped us so much in resolving conflict. He helped us remember why we loved each other in the first place. I will miss his smiling face every week. I highly recommend Gabriel to anyone couple who wants to better their marriage. He is an excellent councilor.
