What matters most to you? Our time together begins by changing the conversation from: “What’s the matter?” to “What matters to you?”
Moving forward we recognize and grow your successes. As we celebrate your accomplishments we acknowledge inevitable challenges to change and personal growth. Then we reframe, reduce and repair them. By the time we finish you will have a new set of tools for a lasting foundation in an approach to whole health and well-being of your choice.
Research and experience shows that we can grow and shape of our brains to increase our inner strengths. These strengths or “positive feelings” include:
• A sense of inner calm & contentment – a gentle happiness at a deeper, more satisfying level
• Self-care – with the qualities of vitality or relaxation
• Caring for others – attentive, thoughtful, kind
• Positive moods – optimism, gratitude & forgiveness
• Common sense – wise effective actions
• Personal integrity – honesty, ethical, respectful, genuine
• Determination – reflective, commitment, aspiration, freedom
• A warm heart – gentleness, compassion , friendship, deep listening
We will explore how our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes combine to influence our brain, body and emotions. This is a journey into the power of the mind. Supporting you throughout our time together is my #1 priority.
Finally, I’ll share with you an idea that changed my life decades ago. Thinking and acting in any situation the same way again and again, and expecting different results, is a definition of insanity. Here’s a better idea: Change the way you think and you’ll change the way you feel.

He is warm and understanding and cares about his clients. He is sincere and his tools are very helpful in any situation and I would recommend him to anybody!!! He changed my life for the better, and I couldn’t ever thank him enough for that.
so far I really feel like im being listened too and I love that Gary asks and makes sure he is understanding what im saying
I have been mostly to female counselors before and I was pleasantly surprised how well I got along with Gary. We haven't dug into typical "female" problems get, but I am looking forward to perhaps getting a different perspective.
He is fantastic at putting my mind at ease and just listening to me vent while offering me constructive advice. He actually reads my journal entries which I send to him and I appreciate how much attention to detail he exhibits throughout our sessions. Would absolutely and highly recommend!! 8 stars out of 5!!
