About Me
Hello. I am a therapist with over 25 years experience. I am a practical, pragmatic therapist who works to teach you different ways to help yourself both now and into the future. My education and experience has shown me that what we learn about ourselves in therapy can be a pathway to a new way of life- free from the issues and stresses that are a constant worry at this time in our lives.
My past clients have told me that they enjoy our sessions- I am interactive and helpful (I don't just 'nod' while you talk). Sessions often feel like a conversation with a trusted mentor or other helping person. I really enjoy working with people who experience anxiety, panic disorders and depression as these types of problems are (in my experience) those that respond the best to my style of therapy.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I hope that we can talk in person soon and begin the journey of helping you grow and learn new ways of thinking and living.

It isn’t easy for me to confide in someone I’ve never met before. Gary made it seem easy. He is a good listener and made me comfortable straight away.
I would highly recommend trying Gary if given the chance, he excels at his teaching style and (though may not be suitable for everyone) could be extremely successful for others. He is deeply-attuned and is exceptional at asking questions that bring both parties closer to an understanding.
Gary was so patient talking me through, gave me time to express myself, explain what’s happening in my head so I wasn’t pressured to just brush through my experience like how my friends usually make me feel. I have all the time I need to talk slowly. Gary notes down what I said and he leads me to healing process by asking open questions and if I would agree with a sentence he concludes how is the situation to me for instance. He’s supportive and has the ability to help me believe in myself, understand myself more so I can walk out of my corner of the wall and pick myself up again.
Gary is a personable, kind, and present therapist. Throughout the sessions I have felt heard and seen by him. He creates an atmosphere of safety and asks questions that are thought-provoking.
