Gay continues to impress me. I began working with her in April and I have progressed so much since then. I was always hesitant to begin therapy, and after meeting her, I wish I had began sooner. I have felt so many aspects of my life improve since beginning counseling!

Gay is an AMAZING counselor! You can change counselors at any point, but I loved her from our very first session! I love that she asked me for my goals, and whenever we are sort of at a dull, she brings us back to those. I love that when I tell her a random story she connects it back to me, using it as an analogy! I love that she truly gets what is going on. I love that she does not push me and make me feel bad, but rather encourages me and helps me 'want' to be my best self! I love the assignments she gives!! I love that she sends little articles for me to read, and makes sure I know she's there for me any time. Oh, and I love the many ways we can communicate-- throughout the week by text (in the chat), and then by phone or video chat when those are scheduled. I ALWAYS get off a call with her feeling good about myself, empowered, and glad I spent those 30 minutes doing that!! ♡

I have only worked with one other therapist in my life but they were nothing compared to Gay. I have gone through many difficult, life changing experiences over the past year and it has taken a lot to get through many days. Now, 8 months of working with Gay, I feel satisfied, happy, accomplished with my life. I feel like I can take on the challenges that I face. She is wonderful and I feel good after every session even if we are just catching up. I would recommend her to anyone because she is that special.

Gay is not only a great listener but a great problem solver. She really helps you understand that root of your issues. The worksheets and extended response questions have helped me to better understand my trauma and I look forward to my sessions and improving my mental health. I’m so grateful for Gay.

Written by J.E. on Aug 11, 2021 after counseling with Gay for 1 year and 4 months on issues concerning stress, anxiety

In a year of working with Gay, I have learned so much about myself and about my own thoughts and why I have them. I’ve explored parts of my life and past that I didn’t think were even relevant to why I am the way I am. And I wouldn’t trade the break throughs I’ve had with her for anything.

Written by G.R. on Jun 22, 2021 after counseling with Gay for 2 months on issues concerning relationship issues, family conflicts, self esteem, and anger management

Gay started n the first meeting and got right to it! It may have helped that I was open and verbose in my "why are you here" response. She has been enormously helpful to me in understanding some of the deeper-seated driving factors of my perceived issues. I feel that she has provided a lot of helpful information and guidance and she will not tell me something just because I want to hear it. She also won't hesitate to tell me something that I DON'T want to hear or accept. That's been very important to our process. She communicates in concrete and tangible ways. We are still really just getting started but we are on our way, and she seems to be very strongly at the helm helping to guide me through some difficult storms. I do highly recommend her.

I returned to counseling with Gay Williamson-Grigas because of the fantastic help she gave me the first time I received her services. She uncovered areas that were missed by 27 years of past therapists. I feel more positive about myself than ever, but because of circustances right now my mood state of mind is low. I am hoping she can restore a more positive state of mind even with the difficult circumstances I'm experiencing.

Written by L.A. on Apr 11, 2021 after counseling with Gay for 3 months on issues concerning depression, eating disorders, and self esteem

Given my experience with past therapists, I was extremely surprised to connect so well with Gay Lynn so quickly! I feel like she really hears me, and offers gentle insights that have really helped me. Have made more progress with her in 3 short months than I did in a year of therapy with an old counselor years back. Thank you for your sincerity, empathy, and for still telling me how it is!

I have never had therapy like this before. I came into this a bit hesitant and nervous of what to expect since I had bad experiences with therapists before, however with just 1 month of sessions with Gay I feel like I am a completely different person. She gives great tools for you to apply to your life and listens to you, which is so important when you’re seeking help, you need to feel heard. I can’t recommend Gay enough, she was so sweet yet blunt at what I needed to hear.

I am so grateful for the spiritual lens Gay was able to competently utilize to help me address my counseling goals. Her ability to share from a Bible perspective was particularly meaningful. Additionally, her ability to listen beyond the expressed words and capture the emotional meaning contributed to my sense of being heard and understood. A valuable resource she provided after each session were notes of key points she captured from the session .

Mrs. Gay was truly what I needed during this month of changes in my life. She gave me coping tools that I will use for the rest of my life, and helped change the way I think about myself and my life. The work we accomplished together was so healing for me. I am even getting a bit emotional now writing about it! I wish we could've met in real life but for now I will be sending Mrs. Gay a big virtual hug and the most sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart.
