About me
Hello. I’m Gayle and have been a licensed therapist in California for 27 years. I specialize in working with women, couples, clients going through transitional periods in their lives, stress management, loss and grief, and I love to assist anyone who is on a path of greater self-discovery. I believe that at the core of each human being is the desire for happiness, individual self-expression, creativity, and love. When we have a balance of mind, body, heart, and spirit, we are in alignment with our best selves.
When we as humans feel stagnant or stuck, that is usually a sign that we need to shift our energies so we can feel dynamic again. Sometimes a therapist is an excellent resource for assisting in this process. There are times when this just takes a few sessions of gaining greater awareness, emotional intelligence, and the actions required for change. There are other times therapy may take a little longer to help break certain patterns so an individual or two people in a relationship can live fuller more meaningful and autonomous lives.
I am solution-focused as opposed to problem-oriented. Coming from an eclectic background, I access several therapeutic modalities including Gestalt, systems, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic approaches with an emphasis on mindfulness and compassion. Every individual and each couple is unique; I work intuitively with respect for clients of every age, gender-identity, race, ethnicity and religion. It would be my honor to work with you when you are ready!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Gayle Marano-Brown. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I’m just coming back and look forward to working with Gayle again. She is very supportive and understanding!
Gayle was great and quite understanding. I really enjoyed our conversation, very knowledgable and insightful.
I am very happy working with Gayle and Have over time opened up more and more.
My only complaint is with the site itself.
we have had problems connecting - we tried phone that doesn't connect clearly. Our video appoint once again didn't connect today and then we connected, then it dropped again. Appoint has to start over in order to reconnect.
Not professional at all.
Gayle is not what I expected therapy would be like.. in the best way possible. So happy I decided to talk to her
