Gena Brown, LPC
About me
Hi! I’m Gena Brown, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oklahoma. With 6 years of counseling experience, built on an 11-year foundation in Special Education, I’m able to understand and support clients from a truly well-rounded perspective. After leaving the classroom, I dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful change.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients from age 4 through adulthood, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral and parenting struggles, neurodevelopmental differences, family conflict, trauma, and PTSD.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where we can work together to increase self-awareness, reduce symptoms, strengthen personal resilience, and set realistic goals for a more fulfilling life.
I integrate several evidence-based approaches — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing — to meet each client’s unique needs.
I’m passionate about meeting you where you are and helping you find the tools and confidence to move forward. I look forward to connecting with you!
