I believe that the first step to change is self-awareness. When we know that we are not in the right emotional space or behaving in a manner in which we desire, we are then able to take the appropriate steps to make a change.
My name is Geneva Henderson. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with many different populations to include, children, individual adults and military service members. I am well trained in many different approaches. I like to view my style of counseling as eclectic ,simply because no two persons are just alike. Once we have met and determine your primary concern, we will discuss what approach is appropriate and what the process will look like. This is your life, so you will be completely involved in the process and development of your treatment goals.
