Hello, How are you?
My name is Genger Benson Perez, and I am here to help. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and EMDREA approved EMDR Therapist, and am Level 2 Gottman Couples Counselor. Along with using these therapy methods, I am an eclectic therapist who uses evidenced based therapies to work with my clients to create their own unique treatment plan to help them reach their mental wellness goals. Additionally, I use my life experience to empathize with those who seek me out in a non judgmental way. I prefer to work with clients that are motivated to improve their life experience and though things will never be perfect, we can strive together to have the life that we can find our calm and be our best selves.
I accept individuals and couples of all ages, races, and/or sexual orientations.

Genger has helped me so much already. She’s managed to help with issues that I’ve been dealing with for a while and progress was really quick to see. She’s also incredibly personable and attentive - I really love her approach to therapy.
The experience I have with Genger is really nice, I was able to tell her all my past issues and trauma. She is a really good listener, and provides excellent advice. The treatment method that I had with her went really well, and it helps me view the same event different. I am able to be more calm when similar events occur. I am really glad to have her as my therapist. My partner and I are considering to start our couple therapy with Genger in the future as well.
I find Genger to be supportive has excellent listen skills and gives good advice
She is very understanding and listens to my issues and helps me in every way she can. I wish I was able to meet her in person.
It took me a couple of tries to find a counsellor I connected well with. Genger was deeply understanding, empathetic and knowledgeable and I am so grateful to her for her help to get me started on my journey to feeling more myself again.
She listens and give very respectful advice. She puts herself in your shoes to help you talk out strategies or conclusions.
I am so grateful to have been connected with Genger. From the first session, she has worked hard to listen, understand, and guide me in the right direction. She truly has a gift for this kind of work and her skill-set is very wide-ranging. I am making great strides in processing past trauma and improving my well-being. Thank you, Genger!
It's only been about two weeks and I'm already feeling more better at handling my bad days.
Very professional and kind
