Life can be challenging at times and how you cope with stress starts with being able to identify your triggers and determining what works for you.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I completed my Master’s Degree in Social Work at Wheelock College and my background involves working with children and families. My work revolves around addressing trauma by utilizing adverse childhood experiences and understanding how it impacts an individual’s life from childhood into adulthood.
I also have experience working with those who have difficulties navigating their educational system or professionals who are trying to find a work-life balance.
I utilize cultural competence while incorporating methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy as well as other modalities in order to address each individual’s issues accordingly.
