Hello Subscriber, I hope you are surviving our Winter weather and managing to stay as physically, spiritually. and emotionally warm as possible.
I am a licensed private counselor, LMSW, with over 20 years of clinical practice skills helping others. The choice you have made by asking and seeking “better help” is the first and most important steps for beginning the process of healing and self-discovery. I am excited about the prospect of being able to support you at this point in your life’s journey.
Selecting a counselor that you feel will be a good fit is just the beginning for improving your well-being. We are all highly experienced, so I encourage you to use your intuition for selecting a good match. My clinical understanding has been applied with an array of age groups, diverse individuals, and mental health problems. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapeutic principals as a framework for understanding the source of misery and/or distress in so many lives. Over the past ten years I have worked with active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families. I have specialized training for resolving anxiety & panic disorder, social anxiety/phobia, anger control difficulties, PTSD, insomnia, grief and chronic pain.
Your time is valuable and I place a priority on your need to feel that this virtual therapy will be beneficial and worthwhile. I look forward to working collaboratively on a subscriber-driven plan for resolution to the issue(s) you identify during therapy.
