About me

Hi and welcome! My name is Gillie, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I've worked in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient treatment. I have experience assisting individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and personality disorders, and have provided individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Regardless of the setting, I'm grateful to be part of my clients' journeys toward healing and use client-centered approaches to reach their goals.

When it comes to therapy, I know it's so important to find a good fit. My previous clients have described my style as warm and empathic. I take an integrated approach when it comes to working with individuals; however, I often draw upon my training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. When it gets down to it, I want my clients to re-engage with their meaningful lives; and together, we will find a way towards healing.
