I have 33 years providing clinical services specializing with working in the area of depression, anxiety and Bipolar Disorder. My experience extends to those experiencing life changes and transitions as well as grief and loss. I have also worked with people who have experienced trauma and/or abuse.
My orientation is a cognitive behavioral approach in general as well as including techniques from mindfulness and behavior therapy approaches to address goal settings. It should also be noted that I have also, at times, utilized psychoanalytical orientation as well.
It would be my privilege to work with you to assist you with gaining coping strategies that you can use independently and help you work through any unresolved thoughts and feelings that are maintaining your current level of distress.
