BE YOUR BEST. YOU.
I've found true meaning in helping individuals develop their inner spark. I'm committed to distilling the truth in people's lives and looking at it with wonder and honesty. And sometimes humor. When we connect in a therapeutic relationship, healing happens. And that's when things get interesting. That's when we get real. That's when it can all change.
I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for over 10 years, working with adults, teens and families of all ages in transition. I have a M.S. in Counselor Education from the University of Wyoming and a B.A. in Mass Communications/Theater Arts from Loyola University New Orleans.
I specialize in:
-Attachment with families and couples
-Teaching and supporting parents (or single parents!)
-Attention-deficit disorder (and supporting family with ADHD)
-Creating meaning at times of transition
I use mindfulness, attachment theory, neuroscience and trauma research and integrative therapy to help find connection and harmony, inside and out. I use a mind/spirit/body/skills-based approach to find what works for each individual to 1) understand what is happening; 2) decide how it serves you and how it hinders you; and 3) make decisions about what to keep and what to change. To understand what you need and then figure out how to ask for it. Counseling is dynamic and my approach is flexible. Like life.
I'm here to help you find courage and support with compassion, curiosity and clarity. You are not alone and I am not afraid to go in with you.

I really like working with Gina. Her ways of exploring my concerns have been extremely illuminating and helpful in a short amount of time. I am looking forward to continuing my work with her.
