About Me

Hello!
My name is Glenda Jimenez and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am licensed in Missouri and have worked with a variety of clients for the past 3 years. I have worked with clients presenting with a wide range of concerns including grief, trauma, and anxiety. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults throughout various needs.

My approach to counseling is Person-Centered. I believe that being heard, understood, and genuinely cared for are components of a healthy and effective therapeutic relationship. However, I do meet my clients where they are at and will tailor my approach according to their needs. I use a variety of techniques from various different approaches including but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Play Therapy, and Internal Family Systems therapy.

I am looking forward to getting to know you and giving space for your story to be heard. It takes a lot of courage to seek help and I can't wait to support you to the best of my abilities.

An excellent counselor who understands the importance of the relationship built between someone who is dealing with counseling and someone who’s in counseling. She’s an excellent support and his great about asking the right questions, for the amount experience that she has she’s way above some of the counselors who I’ve seen with 3 times the amount of experience

She’s super supportive. Very nice! Listens well to everything I say. Offers exercises to learn to help. Checks in regularly.
