Hi, I'm Glenda Velez; I'm a psychologist and I'm glad you made the decision to talk about your concerns with someone in my profession. Is this the first time you've reached out to someone like me? I know and I truly understand this is a very difficult choice, but I want to assure you that I will try my best to assist you in this process. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding me background or ay question regarding Better Help. I want you to be clear and comfortable with our work. Do you have any questions or concerns? Please ask. The clearer you are, more comfortable you will feel. You know, I've seen tons of people that are apprehensive about consulting situations to a therapist...you know what? Brave people consult their concerns! Give yourself the opportunity of exploring thebenefitsof our conversations; I've lways told my clients that you can get a pretty good idea if you feel that I will have the privilege of assisting you after approximately three conversations.

Glenda Velez makes me feel as if she's really hearing me, and helps me clarify my feelings more than I've done in "face to face" situations because I don't feel as if I need to "act" a certain way. I think she's doing an excellent job of enticing me out of my ego and shell. And I'm grateful for that.
Glenda helped me when I needed it. I was going through so much stress and I wasn't thinking clearly. She gave me good advice as well.
Glenda is very understanding and logical when it comes to things I’m struggling with. She listens and doesn’t beat around the bush. She helps you understand each problem and look at it in a manner that makes sense. I highly recommend her!
I have been very nervous to start therapy but Glenda has shown me the value of it. I am thankful for her approach and I feel that she is able to follow my wandering mind and give me what I need to take a step forward!
Glenda Velez is very supportive, listens well, and gives great tools to help get to the source of an issue or concern. She guides, rather than talks at you. She is very helpful and patient, and gives lots of positive encouragement.
Glenda has been the best. She responds fast and effectively.
