About me

My name is Glenn Anderson, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with 15 plus years of experience. I have a unique background due to having experience in working with teenagers in the group home setting who were considered unmanageable. Those seven years of hands on training taught me the value of active listening and nonverbal communication. It is my belief that we grow when we decide to and once that decision is made, change begins. I will respect where you are at in life, when you arrive and work 100% to assist in helping you achieve empowerment before you leave.
I am comfortable working in all cultures and have done so for much of my career. I identify and value the commonality and differences of the human experiences. technically, my approach is humanistic-based, with behavioral cognitive and insight-oriented interventions. My assessments and evaluations are comprehensive bio-psycho-social-spiritual, in nature. My goal is to establish a connection, whereby both the client and I will partner, addressing those aspects of life which present formidable obstacles, and/or repress growth. I do this through interventions that respect the client and help empower the use of lessons learned to overcome symptoms; sabotaged relationships; difficulties at home/work/with significant others, while modifying target behaviors and thoughts. I have experience working with singles, couples, teenagers, individuals and groups. For those specifically seeking Christian counseling, I offer experience seamlessly integrating faith into the healing process. I love what I do. I love to see others grow and heal. I am passionate about it and I will give your concerns my absolute best. I am currently licensed in the state of California.

Mr. Anderson is very effective in his solutions on how to deal with my issues. He listens and is passionate about being there to go over what it is that triggers me to anger.

Glenn is amazing! This is my first time trying therapy & I’ve been holding back for a couple years to start because I felt like I wouldn’t be comfortable with just anyone, but I gave it a shot & got matched with Glenn. Super kind, very attentive & has opened my eyes to many issues. He’s helped me through every step. Thank you so much !

Glenn has been working with me for about 3 weeks now with my situational anxiety. It's my first time in therapy and from the first session till now he's been a tremendous help and eased my nervousness with starting a therapy program. He's got experience and he's got a humble quality about him that I believe only comes with time. Therapy is going to depend a lot on what you bring to the table, but Glenn has always brought more to the sessions each time. He will challenge your thoughts and perception in an honest and open and safe setting. Give it a few sessions but you'll see changes if you're open to it. Thank you Glenn, see you around.
