Gonzalo Walter Wilches, LMFT

Gonzalo's an excellent and thoughtful counselor. He's very willing to take time with you to hash things out, asks plenty of questions, and is perceptive in finding the root of problems. Very good at creating a welcoming, calm environment. I gained a lot in self-understanding and in creating workable plans going forward in solving my concerns. I felt lucky to work with him.

I have been so lucky to have Ganzalo as my counselor. He seems to always give me the best advice when I need it most, and I can really tell that he truly cares and wants what is best for me. I am appreciative and thankful and look forward to continue working with him.

Gonzalo is a genius. He really took the time to make sure I do not feel uncomfortable and to let my walls down and speak. That’s very difficult sometimes but I felt safe and I felt that I could trust him which I did. He’s help me through difficult times and help me to understand myself a lot better so that I can manage myself a lot better and I couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you so much.

Walter is amazing, he really listens and understands and makes me feel like I'm not alone. He responds quickly and sets goals for me that are tailored to my needs and that I can accomplish, so he sets me up for success, not failure like other therapists have in the past. He's the best therapist I've ever had.

Walter is an excellent therapist. Although it was my first time using online counseling, he made the process very engaging and comfortable by responding to my messages in a timely manner. Walter also made sure our live sessions were manageable, quite useful, and employed action items for me to complete, as I was dealing with a time sensitive manner. I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a therapist.

Walter listens and seeks to understand what you are dealing with diplomacy and care. This allows you be open and free to discuss what is going on your mind.

In person counseling has always given me anxiety. Mr. Wilches patience and empathy toward my situation definitely makes me feel more comfortable and reassured about helping me take control of my mental illnesses. I really like how I could spill all my thoughts and worries to him and he gives me things to try and improve like mindfulness exercises. I feel like this was different from other counselors I met with in the past that would basically just acknowledge my problems and then I'd meet them in a month with more problems but nothing would change. He communicates well (even when I don't) and is overall a great therapist. :)

I feel Gonzalo really cares about what I am going through. I have been going through a lot in every aspect of my life and I feel he is sensitive and responsive. If I forget to write to him, or get too busy, he pops in and says hello, which I like. I am dealing with ADD, relationship issues, work/professional issues, investing challenges, self-esteem, setting healthy boundaries. Also, I am a very ambitious person, but needed someone available and flexible, so this emailing works well for me.
