About me

Hello, I am have a masters degree from Liberty University and I am a licensed professional counselor as well as a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor. I work primarily with individuals in addiction. As a result of working toward helping people in addiction become whole, I work frequently with depression, anxiety, life issues, family issues and a variety of other things that come up in counseling. I work with the individual in 1 on 1 sessions, in groups and at times with their family. The goal with each person I work with is to bring them to a place of wellness as we would to resolve the issues their facing.
My counseling approach is very open and interactive. My top priority is to fully understand each person I work with and to help them feel heard, respected and supported. I am compassionate, supportive and will not judge or assume anything about each person I work with. The primary approach that I work from is very person centered but may include Cognitive behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Rational Emotive Behavioral, and/or a Christian Faith Based Approach. With that being said; I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
