I am a licensed clinical social worker who practices mostly Cognitive Behavior Therapy, but additionally draw from other therapies to meet the needs of my clients. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University and earned my B.S. from the University of Illinois. During my over twenty-five years of practice, I have worked with individuals from many diverse backgrounds in different stages of life. These experiences have been invaluable to me and I consider it a privilege to have been a support as well as a catalyst for personal growth for so many people.
Everyone must start somewhere. Paying close attention to what is important to you, I will meet you where you are. Taking great care to offer a non-judgmental, supportive environment that values transparency and humor, I will focus on helping you achieve the goals that you and I develop together. My goal is to foster recovery, growth and change while using a person-centered approach dedicated to trust, authenticity, and encouragement. I consider it a privilege to partner with you and make a difference.
Among other things, I enjoy spending time with his family, playing guitar, listening to music, nature hikes with his family’s two dogs –Zoey and Frankie—and watching documentaries.
