About Me

After serving in the United States Army for over 16 years and navigating multiple deployments I followed my passion of helping others by becoming a licensed therapist.
I am currently living in North Carolina and licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). I have served an expansive variety of clients who were struggling with depression, anxiety, including panic-related problems, addiction, codependency, family problems, trauma, and personality disorders. I will work along side you to develop a treatment plan that meets your needs and provide the results you are looking for!
My approach to therapy starts with the end in mind; knowing what goals you would like to accomplish allows us to create a path to achieve your goals while remaining centered on cultivating the necessary skills to overcome your concerns. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Seeking Safety for trauma and addiction related concerns. I want this to be a life-changing experience for you! My promise to you is that I will work hard to help you prove to yourself that you are capable of happiness, contentment, and change.
I am here to genuinely support you and I commend you for seeking support during this time. I look forward to working with you!

I’ve never met a more adaptable therapist than Greg. He truly listens and tries to help in whatever way that you need/want help. He is kind, compassionate and patient as well. I’d definitely recommend him to others.

Greg has listened to me, understood my issues, challenged me, and offered incredible perspective into the situations I'm dealing with. Over the past few months we've created a fantastic therapist/patient bond and I continue to make progress every week. I feel more confident in myself and the decisions I make, thanks to Greg's advice. Greg doesn't just create an echo chamber to validate feelings, but pushes me to become a better human, and in turn my mental wellbeing is in a much better place.

I absolutely loved my sessions with Greg. He was a Godsends in a super difficult time in my life. He stepped right in to listen and ask all the right questions so he could understand the situation quickly. I’m so grateful for his patience and feedback and I think if I had heard anything else at that time I might have cracked. I was able to process everything and really come to terms with what was happening because of Greg’s help and encouragement. I’m in such a better place now and able to move on for the moment. However, if I run into more challenges I will not hesitate to connect with Greg again. I do highly recommend him if you are in need of a therapist who is down to earth, humble, patient and understanding.

Gregory is my first therapist and I can only sing his praises! He removed any concerns I had about me being female, discussing my issues with a male therapist. He is respectful, comforting, has excellent listening and question skills and is one of the few people who can declutter my scatter brain. I would not hesitate to recommend him to ANYONE looking to try therapy. 11/10

In the short time I've had sessions with Gregory, hes made me feel very comfortable. Honestly, I wasn't sure how I'd feel with a male therapist but he's been very professional & helpful so far.
