I have worked with Gretchen Raring for more than a year now. I find that she is very responsive and in-tune with whatever is happening in my life. I had a recent experience that scared and upset me, and she dialogued with me immediately through the site, it was all resolved by the time we met the next day. It is great to know that I have someone who knows my story, and will be there for me when I need them.

She is the first therapist I actually stuck with. I have had bad experiences with other therapists on here but she is awesome.
You can count on her to get back to you quickly by messaging and she's right on time for sessions.
She's very empathetic and knowledgeable when it comes to trauma therapy. She is not a short term therapist that will leave you in the middle of your therapeutic journey. I definitely would recommend her to anyone needing therapy.

Gretchen helped me find the words to talk to my husband when I didn’t know how to express how I was feeling. With her guidance and suggestions I was able to get conversations going with him that I hadn’t had in 15 years together. She is easy to talk to and feels like a friend. I enjoyed getting to know her!

There is no simple way to explain how instrumental a part Gretchen has played during the last year. She has helped me refocus on myself and f cf support system. I started better help on a whim, with no expectations, and originally paired with another therapist. I switched to Gretchen within a week and have been meeting with her since mid-April weekly. She

Since the first message, talking to Gretchen has felt like talking to a close friend. Her welcoming demeanor over both text and video has made all the difference in how I feel going into a session. Be it rambling on about how my week went, or delving into deeply rooted personal hurdles, she always not only made me feel heard in the moment, but also gave amazing professional insight where I needed it. You can feel how much she cares about and is genuinely interested in your thoughts and day-to-day life. She is also very flexible with her counseling styles and schedule. Gretchen is always prompt to respond, and also checks up on you during the week. She is undeniably the best therapist I have ever had. Thank you so much Gretchen!! You are amazing!

I re-entered therapy shortly upon having an OCD relapse after my father passed away. Throughout my sessions with Ms. Raring, we were able to identify sources of anxiety, childhood trauma and the appropriate CBT I needed to do to begin to work through these issues. While there is still a lot of work to be done, Ms. Raring has assisted me in identifying the areas I would get “stuck” in and provided helpful resources along with direction for me to develop healthy coping skills that I’m beginning to use regularly with success. She is persistent when necessary without pushing you too far and can help redirect or change direction(s) as needed. I had very low expectations after a negative initial pairing with a different therapist. I selected Ms. Raring myself and she has changed my outlook and raised my expectations that I can do this and manage myself in a healthy manner. My anxiety and ruminating has decreased to the point that I do not require daily medication; only as needed. My family and friends have noticed the changes too! She is friendly and open to your process; whatever that may be. Also is always punctual and follows through. I highly recommend her as a therapist if you are struggling with where to start, OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma healing, etc. I can be a difficult individual and she was able to help me (continues to help me each week).
