About me

A bit about me, I am a licensed clinical social worker with 18 plus years of experience. I hold two master's degrees, one in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago-Jane Addams College of Social Work and M.Ed. from Concordia College. My work is with clients from different backgrounds that present with various mental health issues. My therapy style is warm, supportive, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I have an eclectic approach that combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused brief therapy, psychodynamic, and interpersonal psychotherapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
All about you, taking the first step to improve your mental wellness can sometimes feel like a gigantic leap. That takes courage. Know that it is one step at a time, one challenge at a time, and sometimes a moment at a time. Taking the steps to better mental health requires a safe, non-judgmental, trusting, and compassionate space to embrace your truth. As a partner in your pursuit for mental health improvement we will explore the challenges that interfere with being your best self and living your best life. The process to consider is to recognize the challenges, reframe the experiences, reset internal and external perceptions, and walk towards the road of revitalization. The road to wellness takes work and it's not always easy. Just know you have all that you need within you to achieve mental health betterment.

Trust, truth, and time are essential to the development of therapeutic partnerships. Let's get started exploring the best of you!
