About Me

Are you feeling completely overwhelmed by life or by what you're hearing on the new? When anxiety hits does it feel like you can't think of anything but the tightness in your chest or the sound of your heart beating in your ears? Or, do you find yourself feeling blah, sad, or hard to motivate yourself to do things that you used to like doing? If so, it doesn't have to be like this forever! I believe that the body and mind are inter-connected and in order to make a change in one you have to involve the other. I believe in finding alternative, holistic ways of attending to the "symptoms" we are feeling. Instead of running away from uncomfortable or painful feelings, we will work slowly towards acceptance, change, and gratitude.

My background ranges from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to legal aid to individual psychotherapy. I believe in alternative treatment methods, like mindfulness, yoga, and animal-assisted therapy to name a few, to deepen the therapeutic experience. I utilize these and other Evidenced-Based Practices in session, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

I look forward to supporting you!

I've tried three other therapists before almost giving up on finding someone that I thought I would work well with.
Hannah is very easy to talk to and really listens and cares. Her feedback has been extremely helpful and I'm very grateful to have found a therapist that I can say all of this about.

I love Hannah. I think she is very professional and thoughtful in her counsel. I think if I had a friend similar to me I would recommend Hannah to them (but there are other friends I don’t think would appreciate her bc they’re picky). I feel really grateful to have been matched with Hannah.

Haven't been working with Hannah for long but she is already great! She has a very relaxed and goal oriented way of doing things. She always leaves me with something to think about or do for myself in between sessions. I never feel like she is trying to push her opinions on me- but she does help me make informed decisions on what I can do to help myself. Definitely recommend Hannah to anyone dealing with anxiety, or self esteem issues. She's helped me understand how my trauma can guide my thinking and how to break that thought process. Her chats are always helpful as well!
