Hello and welcome! My name is Hannah Purdy and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor issued by the state of Minnesota. I have seven years of counseling experience and have worked with adults with a wide range of health issues including trauma, anxiety and depression, addiction, crisis counseling, family issues, sleep concerns and more.
I am experienced in many therapeutic techniques and work collaboratively with my client to find what works with them. I believe that the relationship between counselor and client is the best predictor of success and work to nurture that relationship throughout the therapeutic experience. Depending on client needs, I will utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to challenge negative thinking patterns and draw parallels to desired behavior change. I encourage autonomy in clients and will work diligently with you to come up with solutions that promote independence and self-reliance in the future.
Whatever the reason you are seeking extra support, I am here to offer a non-judgmental space to explore answers and walk with you on your journey.

Hannah is exemplary. She is thoughtful and compassionate. She helps me outthink my think. She has been an extraordinary asset to my growth over the last year. I am so grateful for this platform, but even more grateful for Hannah. She is a gem!
100% the best therapist I've had.
She's upbeat, a good listener, and gives sound advice
Hannah is amazing! She's so encouraging and helpful. She has read everything I've said with a critical eye, and has made straightforward and intuitive comments and completely validated my thoughts and emotions. She helped me think more kindly about myself and showed me that even when we panic about decisions, we'll be okay no matter what happens. She checks in if she hasn't heard from me in a few days, and I know she genuinely cares!
Hannah is a wonderful counsellor who truly cares about you and your thoughts, feelings and needs. She is warm, approachable and down to earth, acting as a knowledgeable and objective friend as well as therapeutic professional. She offers great insight, and helpfully challenges your beliefs and mindset, and is a lovely person all round.
So far Hannah has been absolutley amazing!! Her understanding of exactly what I am saying or how I might be feeling in a session is astounding and so far spot on. What's even more amazing about her ability to make someone feel comfortable enough to share there story in a matter of minutes is that she does it through this platform and via internet!

Hannah has been extremely helpful in my recovery. I've never met her yet she's one of the most supportive people that I know, and I can always talk to when I'm in distress! She challenges me when I need to be challenged, and she supports me when I need someone to listen to me.
Hannah is a compassionate counselor who listens and encourages her clients.
Hannah is an incredible counselor! She is very compassionate, understanding, quick to respond and makes you feel comfortable right off the bat. She really makes the effort to get to know you and asks the right questions. I had crippling anxiety, but after a few weeks of working with Hannah I had incredible improvements; more than I had ever expected. I highly recommend working with her!
Hannah is kind, caring and very knowledgeable. From the first day I signed up, she responded quickly to my messages between sessions and I felt myself improving immediately. The counseling sessions have been very helpful. I felt at ease with Hannah very quickly and I have learned so much already in the short time I have been signed up.
