I've worked in various settings as a Clinical Social Worker since 2011. This has given me vast knowledge of different ways to help others achieve their goals. My work is always tailored to the individual since no two people are the same. Some of the tools that I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness training, Yoga, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma processing.
It is important to me to be able to understand the problem faced, and help my clients develop a plan to overcome it. Sometimes, the goal may be more about accepting a situation and finding ways to live your best life with a new normal. This is often the case with losses, life transitions, and chronic illness. I can offer unique levels of empathy for those who are dealing with chronic medical problems.
